All our silver jewellery is made of genuine 925 sterling silver. That means it consists of 92.5% pure silver, supplemented with other metals for strength. You can recognise this by the hallmark in the piece.
The «925» stamp
Where size allows, our jewellery carries a small stamp with the number «925». This purity mark shows that it is sterling silver. On very fine or small pieces there is sometimes no room for a stamp, but the material is identical.
Why 925 silver?
Pure silver is too soft for jewellery you wear every day. The 925 alloy is stronger and more durable, while keeping the bright, beautiful silver shine.
And vermeil?
Our gold-plated jewellery is built on that same 925 base, with a warm layer of plating on top.
